Buckeyes retake Trophy

Ohio State outlasted Michigan State 26-6 in the battle for the jiMpossible-sarcasMike Trophy that was mostly determined by the Buckeyes winning the punting game.

Trophy Notes:

• OSU became the first school since TCU in 2015 to win the trophy back in the same season they had lost it. TCU also did this in 2014.
• USC in 1992 was the last team before this OSU squad that won, lost and then re-won the trophy all in the same season.
• The Buckeyes face Maryland this week. Maryland lost to then trophy holder MSU on 11/3. Virginia Tech was the last team to face two different trophy holders in the same season last year.
• Maryland is 1-14 in trophy games. Their lone victory was in 1957 over North Carolina.
• If Ohio State does defeat Maryland, they'll face Michigan for the B1G East title with the Trophy on the line. 

M vs. Rutgers prediction based on the last time M went to New Jersey

Two years ago we were supposed to meet my sister and her husband in NYC for a long weekend and take the train to Rutgers for the game Saturday night.
Hurricane Matthew trapped my sister in Florida so they were not able to join us. Melissa and I had no trouble getting to NYC and had a good weekend until we got on the train.
