I've been out of the country for 2 weeks. So I apologize for the lack of updates.
First Purdue dominated Ohio State then a week later they lost to MSU. The Spartans take the trophy for the first time since 1937!
MSU is now 4-12 in trophy games. This is only their second time as Trophy holder. They had lost 9 straight before defeating Purdue.
The Spartans remaining schedule is:
11/3 @ Maryland
11/10 OSU
11/17 @ Nebraska
11/24 Rutgers
The easiest routes for the trophy to get to M would include:
MSU losing to Maryland then Maryland losing to Indiana - M plays Indiana on 11/17
MSU losing to OSU - M plays OSU on 11/24

Buckeyes take the trophy from the WhiteOut
Ohio State trailed Penn State 26-14 with 7 minutes left in Happy Valley. The last 7 minutes were not kind to the Nittany Lions. Even after falling behind 27-26, it looked like PSU might still eek out a victory, until a questionable 4th down call sealed their fate.
The Buckeyes take the jiMpossible-sarcasMike Trophy for the first time since losing to Florida, and Urban Meyer, in the BCS championship game following the 2006 season.
10/6 Indiana (2-0)
10/13 Minnesota (3-0)
10/20 @ Purdue (4-0)
11/3 Nebraska (0-0)
11/10 @MSU (4-0)
11/17 @ Maryland (0-0)
11/24 Michigan (6-3)
